The hostess, Lana, was the sweetest lady ever! The Greek salad was amazing. Just make sure to split it or ask for the smaller size (it’s not in the menu). It had a delicious lemony dressing with soft feta cheese sprinkled on.
We had the Chicken Florentine and the Chicken Picatta. The Florentine has the most delicious sauce. It was accompanied by broccoli, mashed potatoes, and a cabbage slaw that had a smokey taste to it. The Picatta had a great presentation with alternating chicken and zucchini with broccoli and slaw as well.
For dessert we had the Apple Strudel that is Lana’s recipe. It was served A la mode. The strudel itself was delicious, although it would have been better warm.
The overall experience was wonderful. Great food and great service. The decor is a bit quirky but it made it quite homey like your grandmothers house filled with all of her mismatched collectibles.
